Teatentional began with a simple idea: healing and change start with the choices we make every day.
This space was born from a love of slowing down, caring deeply, and finding beauty in what already exists. From a cup of loose-leaf tea that brings calm, to natural skincare that nourishes, to secondhand clothing that gives new life to what was once overlooked each part of our work reflects a commitment to living with intention.
We believe that growth comes through reflection, and that resilience is built in small, steady steps. That’s why we share tools and resources to help you pause, write, and reconnect with yourself.
At Teatentional, nothing is just a product. Every item carries a story of care: care for you, care for the planet, and care for the community we’re building together.
We’re here to remind you that change doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in the little things choosing what you wear, what you sip, and how you care for yourself. And in those choices, we begin to recreate society, piece by piece.
My Love
Recreating Society is deeply personal to me. My love for sustainable clothing started years ago when I first began selling thrifted items. Back then, it didn’t feel like a “real job” to many around me, and I let that pressure steer me in other directions. I went on to work as a domestic violence advocate and took part in other nonprofit ventures. Those experiences were meaningful and gave me purpose at the time, but something inside me always longed for more space to be myself.
As the years went on, I began to feel the weight of the “rat race” constantly giving, constantly doing, and rarely pausing to care for myself. I realized I was pouring so much into others while leaving little room to nurture my own passions and creativity. That’s when I felt the pull back to what always felt the most true to me: creating, curating, and building a life aligned with who I am and the values I want to live by.
Recreating Society was born out of necessity a necessity to honor my love for sustainability, to embrace an Islamic lifestyle of balance and mindfulness, and to prove to myself that I could create and build something meaningful.
Here, every thrifted piece, every cup of tea, and every product is a reflection of that journey. It’s about slowing down, choosing with intention, and remembering that we don’t have to live rushed, pressured lives to have worth.
Recreating Society is my way of stepping into what feels authentic, and I hope it can inspire you to do the same to care for yourself, to embrace what you love, and to know that small, thoughtful choices truly matter.
